A classic restaurant that has held up over the years. Definitely nicer in the winter due to the decor and low ceilings, but always ask to sit in the back garden area. The pot pie is arguably the best thing on the menu, and the brunch is solid overall, but we can all admit we’re not here for the food.
The bar is a bit too small and claustrophobic, and sitting in the dining room can feel closed in as well, but this is one of those restaurants that’s very New York and appeals to locals as much as it does to tourists.
